AutoBatch
Each PAX device has its own batch. The typical setup for a PAX device is to automatically batch during the night at around 2 am. In order for the PAX device to batch automatically the device must be turned on and the BroadPOS app must be running. The BroadPOS app has the name of your processor on it so it should be something like Vantiv or TSYS but the icon should say PAX BroadPOS. Touch this app to start it and then leave it running in the background. You can touch the circle home button and select the LinkPOS app to be in the foreground, just leave the BroadPOS app running. If you touch the square button and can see both the LinkPOS app and the BroadPOS app in the list then you should be set to batch automatically at night. The PAX device must have a good connection to the internet and be turned on during the time that it auto-batches. There may be updates or issues with the batch that prevent it from being closed automatically. If the batch hasn't auto-closed for multiple days then you should close the batch manually to clear out any issues and it should resume auto-closing going forward.
If you have followed the above instructions and the device still doesn't automatically batch at night call LinkPOS support. The devices should be set to auto batch but if not LinkPOS can change the settings on the device to auto batch.
